Always check 3rd brake light on cab!!!! Will keep torque convertor from lock-up,creating excessive heat and premature trans failure. I’ve made it a habit to check at every service interval.Saved many trannys that way. This pertains to all E40D and 4R100 Transmissions in all years and models.
